My Favorite Antioxidant Smoothie


Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and has something super fun and restful planned for the weekend! Lately, I have been really interested in how I can incorporate getting more antioxidants and nutrients into my diet. What’s a better way to do that than a breakfast smoothie? I feel like smoothies are the best way to get the nutrients our bodies need because we’re consuming good fruits & vegetables in a raw form, but in an easily digestible way. Antioxidants are really important to a diet for immune health because they can help protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals, which results in the protection from harmful diseases and cancers. I drink this smoothie for breakfast almost every day and I love it right before I go for a jog! I also love to make this smoothie in my Ninja because of how quick and easy it is! It literally only takes a few seconds and everything is blended so smoothly; not to mention how convenient the cup is to take right off and drink out of for an easy single serve on the go. So here are all of the ingredients and how I make this sweet, antioxidant superfood smoothie!



  • 1 Cup of Raw Baby Spinach

  • 1/2 Cup of Triple Berry Mix (I purchase the Great Value brand from Walmart that contains Blueberries, Strawberries, and Raspberries)

  • 2 TB of Vanilla Greek Yogurt

  • 1 TB Organic Honey

  • 1 Tsp of Chia Seeds

  • Splash of Orange Juice or Cranberry Juice Cocktail (Only a little because of the Sugar)

  • Water to fill the remaining space

  • 1 Green Apple


  • My first step I like to do to keep the cup from being too full is to blend up the Spinach with a little bit of water just to break it down. Then I do the same thing with the berries and Green apple

  • Next I will add the yogurt, honey, chia seeds, a splash of orange juice or cranberry juice and then fill the remaining space with water. Just blend all of this together and there you have it— a superfood smoothie your body will love you for!
